"The Silence of the Clamps"[1] is the one hundred and second episode of Futurama, the fourteenth of the sixth production season and the first of the eighth broadcast season. Seeing as "Holiday Val-U-Pak" is broadcast between the two seasons as a Christmas episode, Silence of the Clamps could be considered the season premiere.
Story
Bender witnesses a crime committed by the Robot Mafia and has to go into witness protection.
Production
Maurice LaMarche revealed in an update online that this episode will have a large focus on Clamps, indeed his great break through episode.[2] The project title of this episode before it was finalised was "Bend on a Wire".
