The Story

Act I: Fame is mine

Bender is outraged when he robs a swimming pool to be on TV and no one realises it was him, with witnesses mistakenly calling the criminal human. He then makes a variety of attempts to become famous including spending all night vandalising a building, only to see it demolished the next day.

Act II: This is the worst funeral ever

He heads to work depressed and the rest of the Planet Express try to cheer him up by throwing him a funeral to show how he'll be remembered. He is highly disappointed by the group's efforts. The crew then has to deliver a giant sandstone block to the planet Osiris 4 and after the delivery they are taken as slaves of the Pharaoh Hermenthotip.

Act III: Quit giving the slave drivers pointers

On the boat to the worksite, Bender realises that the pharaohs are remembered after their deaths and gives the slave drivers pointers on how to make slaves work harder and quicker to get the job done. Hermenthotip then comes and is about to free the slaves but he is crushed by his statue's nose and is killed, Bender is upset by the death. He then changes the wall of prophecy to make it seem that he is supposed to be the pharaoh's successor. Bender is then made the new pharaoh.

Act IV: crawl pigs

Bender turns out to be a crueller pharaoh than the old pharaoh and makes the slaves work hard to build a much larger statue of him that reaches into space. Bender is unhappy with the statue since it is so big that people will probably remember the statue instead of him and demands to have it torn down so that the slaves can start over. The slave drivers are sick of Bender always being unsatisfied and say that he suddenly died and he is thrown in his tomb with Fry and Leela so he can see them remember him.

Act V: lets blow this tomb

Bender’s tomb turns out to have an entire casino in it with explosive pomegranate schnapps which gives Leela the idea to blow the place up in order to escape, Bender refuses to let her. Leela and Fry then pretend to forget who Bender is and he then reluctantly agrees. The tomb and statue explode as the crew manage to escape, Bender is reminded that he'll be remembered despite the lack of monuments and he then plans to take over Earth next.
