Troop Grit is the sixty-first comic issue, released 30 May, 2012 in the US.
The Story
Bender takes charge of a scout troop, but after declaring that membership is for robots only, he is soon challenged by Leela's all-girl, evil mutant troop. Not wanting to be left out, Fry forms a troop of his own, with himself as its only member! When Planet Express sponsors a field trip and delivery competition, Fry, Leela, and Bender set out to prove to each other who has the top troop!

- Bender refers to his TV show, which was featured in the previous issue.
Allusions
- Leela's scout troop names themselves "the sisterhood of evil mutants" in reference to X-Men enemies "The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants". Also in reference to X-Men, Fry is seen using Cerebro to attempt to recruit scouts for his troop.
