Richard Caruthers "Rich" Little is a Canadian-American impressionist comedian and actor who has voiced his own head in a jar imitating Howard Cosell on Futurama. He began his career as a teenager in his hometown of Ottawa doing impersonations of famous Canadian politicians. After becoming a disc jockey his impressions gained the attention of Judy Garland, and he debuted in the United States in 1964 on the short-lived The Judy Garland Show. In subsequent decades, Rich Little became famous for his impersonations of George Burns, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and Johnny Carson. Carson was so enamored with his impersonation that Rich Little appeared numerous times on The Tonight Show during the 1970s and 1980s. Rich Little was also the host of the White House Correspondents' Dinner in 1985 and 2007.

In addition, Rich Little has had a career as an on-screen actor, appearing in episodes of CHiPs, Hawaii Five-O, and Murder, She Wrote, and he utilized his impression of Johnny Carson to play him in the HBO film The Late Shift.
