Biography

Elzar is a famous chef, owner of the resturaunt "Elzar's Fine Cuisine" and host of "The Essence of Elzar." He is also the reigning champion of the show Cooking Colliseum; Bender once defeated him, but declined the title of Iron Cook[The 30% Iron Chef|^(3ACV22)]. He got his start when he was brought in to replace Helmut Spargle's less extreme show, "Down-home Country Cooking with Helmut Spargle". Elzar practices the dark side of cooking, utilising things like cilantro, mango salsa, Raspberry vinegrette, along with liberal use of his spice weasel.

A Neptunian, Elzar lives in Little Neptune. He is cocky, arrogant, posessing a sharp tongue and a short temper. He is an excellent chef, though he doesn't run the cleanest resturaunt in town and has a reputation for being rude to the customers. Bender briefly worked for Elzar, in order to pay for the meal Elzar served them to make up for accidentally blinding Leela[Bender Gets Made|^(2ACV13)].
