The Amish, sometimes referred to as Amish Mennonites, are a group of Christian church fellowships that form a subgroup of the Mennonite churches. They are known for simple living, plain dress, and reluctance to adopt many conveniences of modern technology.
By 3011, they have been given their own homeworld, presumably due to the rapid advances of technology that happened in that time that used up their land. In June 3011 (6ACV19), Fry lived on their homeworld as part of his therapy, after being haunted by Bender's ghost through Earthican electronics.
