Lifter was a member of the first Planet Express crew in 2961, being an equivalent to Bender. Professor Farnsworth described him as "the devastatingly handsome forklift" in 3011 (6ACV15).
Biography
In 2961, Lifter was digested by a four-dimensional space whale along with the rest of the first crew. In 3011, however, the whale, piloted by Leela, set him free, having allowed him not to age a day, because, according to Professor Farnsworth, it "must have some kind of Möbius colon that endlessly recycles time and space".
Additional Info
Lifter’s appearance loosely resembles that of Wall-E from the Disney movie of the same name. Both have three point treads, box like bodies, and short arms.
