A secondary character is a character that either appear in several episodes, as a recurring character or a character appearing in a single episode, with major importance towards the plot development of that episode.

Major secondary characters
Nixon, Zapp, Kif, Nibbler, Mom, Scruffy, Cubert and Dwight are considered major secondary characters, because of their important attachment towards the primary characters, but also because they either have an A or B plot revolving around them in a given episode, comic or film.
