Species

His article says that "he is most likely not Amphibiosan". Mrs. Astor's article calls him "her Amphibiosan butler". Could we get some consensus on this? Teyrn of Highever 13:42, 21 March 2011 (CET)

I'll check the commentary later. Maybe that has something. Teyrn of Highever 18:53, 21 March 2011 (CET)
If she calls him that, this Trivia bullet should be removed or cleaned up. Quolnok's the one who added it. It would be good to know what he thinks we could do with the text. Sanfazer 00:34, 22 March 2011 (CET)
To the best of my knowledge, she doesn't refer to his species at all. It's just her article that says he is Amphibiosan. Teyrn of Highever 00:39, 22 March 2011 (CET)
Both articles said that he is Amphibiosan before I changed it. My opinion is that he almost certainly isn't, with a slight chance of a subspecies or hybrid that won't ever be acknowledged. I've removed the claim from her article, as he certainly isn't a normal Amphibiosan. - Quolnok 09:46, 22 March 2011 (CET)
My misreading! Sanfazer 22:25, 22 March 2011 (CET)
That was my fault, since I created the two. (Although, in my defence, this characters suspiciously resembles the Grand Midwife.) But I figure you're correct, Quolnok, so I added the thought to Amphibiosans. Sanfazer 22:25, 22 March 2011 (CET)

Name

I'm writing the transcript and the subtitles label him as "Hobsie". Should there be a redirect to this article or should this article be moved? Any thoughts? Teyrn of Highever 13:45, 21 March 2011 (CET)

His name would depend on the allusion. Until we find out what it is, or if there even is one, I can't tell. Sanfazer 00:34, 22 March 2011 (CET)
Allusion? I'll leave it as a red link for now so that I know that it needs to be addressed. Teyrn of Highever 00:39, 22 March 2011 (CET)
Allusion, reference, parody, et cetera. We used it to decide on the spelling of Greyfarn. Sanfazer 22:25, 22 March 2011 (CET)
I'm well aware of what an allusion is. You said that the spelling would depend on the allusion and I was questioning the fact that there could even be one. I should have been more clear. Teyrn of Highever 23:08, 22 March 2011 (CET)
