These are the current events for both Futurama and the Infosphere in general. For discussions on changing matters of the Infosphere, please see the conference table.
Futurama
Ongoing and Recent events
- Issue #44 The Fry and the Furious! was released on the 22nd of July.
- The recasting ploy remains a hot topic in Futurama discussions around the Internet.
- The Universe 1 Fry and Leela pack have had a wider release.
Upcoming events
August
- The 2010 calendar will hit stores.
- Kidrobot will be releasing a line of Futurama figures on the 13th.
- Several Toynami figures are expected in August the sets delayed from July; a Fry & Bender encore set and Series 07 (Hermes & Professor Farnsworth) should also be available.
September
- The air date of Into the Wild Green Yonder's sub episodes has been scheduled for sometime in September, though the precise date remains unknown.
- The 30th sees the release of the issue #45 of Futurama Comics in the USA and Canada.
- September should also see the release of UK/Ireland issue #55 (Soldier Boys and Homeward Boned) and Australia/New Zealand issue #39 Rust In Peace.
October
- Futurama: The Complete Collection 1999-2009 will be available on the 13th of October.
- Cast members Billy West, John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche and Phil LaMarr will be attending Animation Supercon in October.
- Toynami will be releasing Series 08 (Chef Bender & Mom) in October.
2010
- Season 6 remains scheduled to air in mid-/late-2010.
