The public address announcer is the never-seen DOOP official responsible for disseminating information over the public address system to the DOOP camp during the Battle of Spheron 1. The announcer talks to the camp at least twice; once to inform them of incoming wounded (including Bender, who was injured in an explosion), and to relay the planetary evacuation order after Bender is rigged with a planet-destroying explosive (2ACV17).

- The character is voiced by Todd Susman, and is a reference to his role as one of the two never-seen PA announcers on the television series M*A*S*H.
