King Kong is a giant gorilla who is supposedly an ally of humanity. He is now very elderly, using a walker, wears a hearing aid, and carries a skeleton of a woman. After the failure of the Anti-Tentacle Blockade of Earth, President Nixon believed all hope was lost and that Kong, who was standing in the Oval Office, was now too old to help stop Yivo from reaching Earth. [TBwaBB]
- King Kong is a very obvious representation of the character from the same-named film series.
- A human-sized version of King Kong appears in "Monkey Sea, Monkey Doom!" — the first comic.
- In The Beast with a Billion Backs, the skeleton King Kong holds is a representation of Ann Darrow, as portrayed by Fay Wray, in the 1933 version of King Kong.
Nixon: Har-harrooo! The tentacle's coming towards Earth and there's no stopping it! King Kong's too old to save us this time.
