Yeah, I was gonna remove that too, since I didn't remember anyone mentioning anything at all about the universe Hermes' head was stuck in. But I had to confirm it first. Seriously, mr. random anonymous guy, you can't just make up stuff and call it trivia. It has to be real, actual, provable facts. --Buddy 12:11, 18 June 2007 (PDT)

Heh, If I'd come by in the past few days I'd probably have accidentally infinte-blocked him. Almost did that to a legit IP a few days ago. - Quolnok 07:55, 21 June 2007 (PDT)
Well, when 99% of anonymous edits are spam-tards, who could've blamed you? --Buddy 13:27, 25 June 2007 (PDT)

Bender

You know, there couldn't be any Bender in universe 31,because Bender is a robot,so he would be something like a human (Not confuse with Bender Human from Episode 3ACV18).A human-looking-like Bender.

Your point being? I want to remind you that this is not a community intended for the discussion of what like and speculate about the show, that's what PEEL and FMMB are for. This is for discussing either 'facts' within the show or how to improve articles or the wiki in general. --Svip 20:14, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Small cast

I know it's already noted in the article that this episode has the smallest cast, at five. Is it worth also noting that it's the only episode to exclusively feature the seven core characters, with no secondary characters appearing? (Well... technically!) Sordyne 20:21, 7 January 2011 (CET)

The Transition Announcer is kind of a secondary character, but yes. In the Trivia section, right after the "smallest cast" sentence? Sanfazer 22:26, 7 January 2011 (CET)
Awesome! I only added a couple of links. Sanfazer 02:39, 16 January 2011 (CET)

Different lengths of wire?

I'm not sure that you could call what the crew used wire, wrong diameter. Cable or rope, maybe. I think that the recent change is making connections that aren't there. I want a second opinion before changing it, though. Teyrn of Highever 23:42, 20 February 2011 (CET)

Indeed, there seems to be no connection. Not only are they not in colours, but he doesn't use the same term of phrase. I doubt any wire that Farnsworth has can be a connection to episode 1. --Sviptalk 23:59, 20 February 2011 (CET)
The transcript for the episode states: "Farnsworth 1: We'll each have to search a universe. Everyone, grab a length of wire first so you can find your way back." I was trying to establish that there are similarities between the universes, but I will not challenge any judgment made about the edit. -- DeepSpaceHomer 00:03, 21 February 2011 (CET)
Good point. While I agree about Farnsworth telling the crew to grab wire, I'm still not sure that the use of the term is enough to make a connection. Teyrn of Highever 00:05, 21 February 2011 (CET)
Although the edit has already been undone, I'd like to say that, as a reader, I was satisfied to see what DeepSpaceHomer wrote. And if the Professor does mention "a length of wire" (I don't remember it, so I'd have to use the transcript as well), we should do the same as a Trivia bullet. Sanfazer 00:14, 21 February 2011 (CET)
I have to agree, while I didn't see a connection, it was very well written. The Professor does mention for everyone to grab "a length of wire" so I have to give DeepSpaceHomer credit for that. The only problem I have was what I said in my previous post, just because the term is used doesn't make it a deliberate reference. It could be mentioned that the same phrase was used in the first episode but in my opinion, the repetition of a phrase alone is not enough to make something a reference. Teyrn of Highever 00:24, 21 February 2011 (CET)
The way I see it, the "length of wire" thing is a running gag. If it's found in other episodes, it can even get its own article. In the meantime, the bullet could still exist, but be changed in order to acknowledge the reference as a lighter one. (The repetition of a phrase alone would be a catchphrase if used various times, but this is clearly not the case.) Sanfazer 00:36, 21 February 2011 (CET)
I'll start looking. Teyrn of Highever 00:38, 21 February 2011 (CET)
Having checked all of the Infosphere's transcripts for the original run, I didn't find any additional use of the term "length of wire". Take what you want from that. Teyrn of Highever 00:54, 21 February 2011 (CET)
Perhaps a simpler, less aggrandizing version of what I wrote could be added, i.e. *Farnsworth-1 is shown to have a collection of many lengths of wire, similar to Farnsworth-A but displayed more prominently (1ACV01)." Thoughts? Reamings? -- DeepSpaceHomer 01:11, 21 February 2011 (CET)
I think that would be the ideal solution for our problem. Will you take care of it, Deep? Sanfazer 01:57, 21 February 2011 (CET)
Done. Any qualms, my less-than-shiny-metal posterior is ready for the beating. -- DeepSpaceHomer 02:15, 21 February 2011 (CET)
Not gonna be necessary. You did a fine work. And I don't even support the act, anyway. Sanfazer 23:09, 21 February 2011 (CET)

Universe 1 Characters

Should the parallel versions of the crew have their own seperate pages? We know enough about them for them to be independent characters. (I'm talking about the Universe 1 crew, not the ones from Universe 25, 1729, etc...) I'll take screen caps if they are needed. DannyJC13 (talk) 19:37, 6 December 2011 (CET)

Sounds like a good idea. As far as nomenclature goes, Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth (universe 1) would probably be better than Professor-1. Sanfazer (talk) 21:24, 6 December 2011 (CET)
I'll get on it ASAP. DannyJC13 (talk) 22:15, 6 December 2011 (CET)
Slight problem, I want to save the images as PNG but then it won't let me crop it. DannyJC13 (talk) 23:05, 6 December 2011 (CET)
Don't crop it. Sanfazer (talk) 21:49, 7 December 2011 (CET)
Got it... DannyJC13 (talk) 11:51, 20 December 2011 (CET)
