Robot Fry is a new character in season 6, first appearing episode one, "Rebirth". At the end of Into the Wild Green Yonder, the Planet Express ship goes through the Panama Wormhole and exits just near Earth. The ship is shot by Zapp Brannigan's flagship Nimbus and thus losses power. The ship crashes just outside the delivery company, killing Fry; as a result, Leela builds Robot Fry at a Build-a-Bot workshop. Robot Fry was programed to love Leela after she uploaded his personality from surveillance tapes. Robot Fry appears at the end of the "Rebirth" episode and leaves with Robot Fry, saying "We'll be back... for our stuff.
