Trivia
- The beer bottle in his eye as well as the whole look of his face is a reference to the silent movie A Trip to the Moon.
- While Craterface is initially depicted as being unable to show any emotions or facial expressions (due to his head being a mask), he is seen doing so in Into the Wild Green Yonder.
- He is one among few Futurama male characters to be voiced by a woman.
- Both of the episodes in which he has a speaking part ("The Series Has Landed" and "Meanwhile") were written by Ken Keeler and directed by Peter Avanzino.
- "Craterface" is an insulting term for someone with a lot of acne or acne scars.
