The birthing machine is a creation of Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth. It was used to rebirth the crew members after the crash that occurred after they emerged through the Panama Wormhole in Season 6. It uses Edil stem cells, harvested from perfectly healthy adults whom the Professor killed. Oddly enough, the machine can also restore Robots, Decapodians and Amphibiosans.

Trivia
- The Professor invented a similar machine in the game. The Reanimator
works differently, but it has the same function as this device.
