The Battle for Earth in 3007 occurred when humans trapped on Neptune wanted to take back Earth from the Scammers.
The Battle
The battle starts as the Earth forces and their allies approach Earth, and the Death Stars suddenly appear and shoots down the Nimbus, effectively putting it out of action. Thus Leela takes control. But after some time she realises that she cannot control the amount of ships she is leading.
Hermes thus suggests he should do it. As a bureaucrat he is able to control a lot of things at once. And thus he controls all the ships to shoot simultaneously at the Death Stars, and soon the battle is won.
