Sweden in Futurama
- In "A Leela of Her Own", there is a Swedish blernsball team, in which everyone is blonde.
- In "Less Than Hero", the Planet Express crew buys a table from π-kea, a reference to the Swedish company IKEA. The π-kea bot tells them to "enjoy [their] affordable Swedish crap", Fry says that "those Swedes really know how to put in almost everything you need" and Turanga Leela says she is "sore all over, I feel like I just went ten rounds with mighty Thor", a reference to the ancient Swedish god.
- In "Bend Her", the Professor attacks a group of Swedes at the Olympics, destroying their banner and exclamating "Sweden? I don't think so!"
- In "Bender's Big Score", Bender goes back in time to 2308 and steal the Nobel Peace Prize, after which he is attacked by Swedish spaceships. Bender asks "not so neutral now, are you, Sweden?", a reference to Sweden's neutrality during World War II and the Cold War.
