The Fairness in Hell Act of 2275 requires the Robot Devil to allow people to rescue damned robots. If they can defeat the Robot Devil in a fiddle contest, they recieve their friend's soul and a golden fiddle. If they lose, they only recieve a smaller, silver fiddle, and may be killed.
Fry and Leela took advantage of this act to rescue Bender when he was sentenced to eternity in Robot Hell (1ACV09).
