Zapp Brannigan's Big Book of War is a book authored by Zapp Brannigan. Proclaimed by Brannigan as his masterwork, the book closely follows the themes of Sun Tzu's The Art of War. General Brannigan keeps a copy in the book pouch of his captain's chair aboard his ship, the Nimbus.

- The book resembles children's books, such those written by Dr. Seuss. This could be a reference to both Zapp's childishness and the fact that many of his military strategies are so poor that a child could devise them.
