Yivo is a huge purple tentacle creature from an alternative universe, which we do not know by now. He will play an important part in "The Beast with a Billion Backs" (TBwaBB)

Apparently, he will marry Fry and make him pope of a new religion.

In the episode Template:The Farnsworth parabox, when the planet express crew and their parralel duplicates are trying to find the box containing the portal to their universe, purple tentacles come out of one box grabbing Leela, they could have possibly been yivo's.
