Vladimir was a wealthy robot who had a fortune of $10,000,000. He lived in a castle right next to a graveyard which was believed to be haunted. He died in 3001 and left his son Tandy his fortune, his butler 'You There' a pittance, and his nephew Bender his castle. Straight after he was buried his programming leaked into the castles wiring through an abandoned modem causing him to be projected as a hologram.
