The wedding of Turanga Leela and Lars Fillmore occured near the end of the year 3007. The wedding occured just 3 days after Lars' proposal. The hors d'oeuvres were provided by Elzar and included Crud Puffs and a Schlimp Cocktail. Fry thought that the wedding should never occur and attempted to stop the ceremony by switching the pen used for signing the wedding lisensce with a fake, inkless one. (However, the ceremony was unaffected because Lars had an extra pen.) Then, Hermes ha a chandelier fall on him. His body was fatally electrocuted, but his head was saved. Ethan 'Bubblegum' Tate then noted that Hermes' body was doomed because it was a time paradox duplicate. This inexplicably caused Lars to get scared an call off the wedding.
