The Futurama Outlet was first created by webmaster, Robert DeMartini in 1999. Since then the site has gone from owner to owner until it was eventually shut down. As of August 7th, 2017 the outlet is back up and running under new management, Jennifer Carnivele.

The Outlet was once featured in an article in Wired Magazine in 1999. The Futurama Outlet
