we need pictures for most, if not all, of the appearances of the shadow.--I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 07:37, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Silence! I concur! I mean, it is sort of obvious. --SvipTalk 11:21, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
look heaps better, nice work. maybe some repositioning is needed though...--I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 22:03, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Wait wait wait, it's in ItWGY?! I demand images and time-codes! --Buddy 01:44, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Good, but could be better!

I took a look at our Google Analytics page today. Something I have done more and more rarely these days, dunno why, got other things to do.

But I noticed that on 27 October, we had a peak of 6000+ visits on this very page (from reddit's front page). I have no idea why I didn't notice, maybe because the system that runs the server now is actually pretty awesome?

But that is not my main concern. This article is good. Good enough to be featured as it is. But for this amount of publicity, I say, it should be even better. The amount of images makes the text seem a bit cramped. Would be nicer with more textual content. --Svip 04:03, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

It needs the pics, although a couple could be moved to a gallery? And as for the text, I'm not sure what else there is to say... --Buddy 00:33, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
I am generally not a fan of galleries, as they... are not really that pretty. I prefer it within text, it looks more professional. But I am certain we could write more content.
Slightly unrelated, I found the reddit page in question. --Svip 10:02, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

Originally?

We all know that the episode ("Space Pilot 3000") aired with the "JFK Jr. Airport" line, which was later changed for syndication and DVD purposes. But I heard a clue that Nibbler's shadow had the same idea. Is this true? I mean, it could be supported by the fact that they were a bit unsure the exact reasons for Nibbler (and it was Nibbler they were putting in, just not some shadow), so they could have gone back when they realised they needed that. But a fact to disregard it is that even when they are doing the DVD commentary for that episode, they weren't even beginning on writing the fourth season, which meant it was certainly not for something they just came up with.

But then again, did they comment on people actually getting it was Nibbler's shadow to begin with? --Svip 15:40, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

I seem to remember that they'd planned the whole Nibbler thing from the start. I also thought that it was changed to "Radio city mutant hall" before it aired. - Quolnok 02:27, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm fairly certain they changed it before airing due to JFK, Jr's recent death. And they also said they put Nibbler in as a secret and meant to work that part out later. So no, the shadow wasn't added to augment the secret, it was the other way around. Shadow first, then figure out the secret. --Buddy 03:40, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
