Go Bender, go Bender, go Bender! And I can't even take Journeyman in my country! --SvipTalk 17:52, 22 November 2007 (PST)

Monsters vs. Aliens

According to this review of Monsters vs. Aliens, there is apparently a Futurama reference at the very end of the credits, can we get any disclosure on this?! --SvipTalk 00:41, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Didn't look at the review yet. It ought to show up on 'kipedia or IMDB soon if there is a reference. I don't particularly feel like seeing that movie myself, hopefully someone with a small child will take one for the team. - Quolnok 02:49, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
It's funny though, despite being labelled as a film for children, there are quite a lot of adult themes in that film from my understanding. Ah, if it makes anything better, I may be going to see it today - without a small child, that is. But I would not be surprised if it was enjoyable, The Incredibles was as well. It is very common for Pixar films to include a wide verity of jokes that only adults get. So watching it hopefully won't be unbearable, besides, it's only an hour and a half, it's not like I haven't wasted the same amount of time on a Futurama film, eh. Anyway, possible update later today. --SvipTalk 08:38, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I saw it, and I didn't get that it was a Futurama reference. In fact, I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that it is. The concept of freezing heads has been around since long before Futurama. --Buddy 21:56, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I have to admit, I felt similar when I saw it. It seemed like a stretch. But DreamWorks might have made a Futurama reference as a payback for the reference Futurama did. But who knows. Should we remove it? --SvipTalk 22:34, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
