After watching the episode several more times, I'm almost positive I'm hearing his name as "Basil" not "Bassor". :Well, we may also want to consider what the possible allusion is. I'll admit, that 'Bassor' is not a name I've heard before. And no one on Wikipedia seems to be going by that name. So for 'Bassor' to make sense, it will have to be a reference to something.
