Amy's uniform

The current article says "Amy wears a Pan Am uniform from 2001: A Space Odyssey." To me, it looked like the uniform from Spaceballs. Which one is it? - UnrealLegend (talk) 06:32, 31 August 2012 (CEST)

It is from 2001. Look at the uniforms and compare it to Amy. The logos and the strap around the chin fits perfectly, compared to the Spaceballs uniforms you mention. It also makes more sense, seeing as Amy is a woman and the Spaceballs uniforms were worn by men. --Svip^talk 08:44, 31 August 2012 (CEST)

Benders dress

Bender wears a dress from a science fiction film as well: its about a world where there is no war - but there is a game where people try to hunt each other. And there is a scene where a guy is on a fox hunting. He looks in the mirror, looks very fine - and he smashes the back of his shoes again each other: and explodes because there was a bomb installed. hunted down on a hunt .... the movie is: "La decima vittima". -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by 195.233.250.7.

Addendum 08/2014:

O.K. folks - in the meanwhile in our german cultural tv "la decima vittima" was aired. I've looked at it. It's a great movie - more than 50 years old. However: the scene where the hunters / vitims are on a fox hunt is very small. And I doubt that there is a direct reference from the (seldom seen) foxhunting uniforms to benders dress.

Sorry - it has been at least 30 years since I've seen "la deciam vittima" the last time.

It's more a funny coincidence: but worth mentioning.
