Discussion

A Wikipedia user is a Wikipedian, but what is an Infosphere user? An Infospherian? An Infospheric? An Infospheroid? I don't know. Apparently, we don't have a name. And we need one, don't we?

I propose creating a project page similar to this one, only smaller. Of the three names that I mentioned, I like Infospherian the most. What about you?

Feel free to suggest other names. Sanfazer (talk) 20:10, 7 November 2011 (CET)

Personally, I find most Wikipedians to be self-righteous assholes. (The robot devil said "That's alright, you can say that here.") I like "Spheroid" or "Spheronian" ... There are so many suffixes we could affix to "Infosphere"... 'spherite. 'spheron. 'spheroid. 'spherian. 'spheronian. 'spheritis. 'spherephobia. 'spherosis. 'spheritudinal. Wait, I think I got off track somewhere in there... *wanders off* --Buddy (talk) 10:38, 12 November 2011 (CET)
I blame that on grammar. And this tie on all editors who don't opine. Who will step forward and save us from this uncertainty?!? And by us I mean... Sanfazer (talk) 19:39, 12 November 2011 (CET)
I'm legally prohibited from relieving uncertainty. However, I do like to opine, and I think that "Infospheran" sounds good. -- DeepSpaceHomer (talk) 04:11, 13 November 2011 (CET)
Perhaps a vote is in order? Can we do a vote with more than two options? --Buddy (talk) 07:59, 13 November 2011 (CET)
Deep. Do you mean Infospherian?
Buddy. We can, but, as far as I know, not with templates such as Infosphere:Accept. I've taken the liberty to add a ballot box. Sanfazer (talk) 19:17, 13 November 2011 (CET)
No, I meant "Infospheran", like "Roman". Sounds better to my ears. -- DeepSpaceHomer (talk) 20:22, 13 November 2011 (CET)
Oh. Okay then. It's been added to the box. Sanfazer (talk) 21:13, 13 November 2011 (CET)
As it isn't simply yes/no, I'd rather see this done in the form of preferential voting, wherein all voters can assign each option a rank, first choice given a 1 and so on, then the item with least votes has all it's votes reassigned to the voter's next preference. Interesting. Can you set it up? Sanfazer (talk) 19:31, 14 November 2011 (CET)
