The Space Wasp is an unconfirmed alien species. It only appeared written on a folder containing the career chips of the former planet express crew which read: "Contents of Space Wasp Stomach". Just like any other creature with the name beginning with the word "space" this creature cannot drink Slurm.
According to the commentary of the Sting, the Space Bees are not at all similar to the space wasps. And thus these two episodes contradict each other.
