The Serpent of Eden is a regular but talking snake living on the Lo'ihi Island. It's a parody of the snake in the Garden of Eden.

When Leela and Zapp crashed on the island, the Serpent spent its time talking them into having sex with each other, which actually happened when the V-GINY forced them to "commence intercourse".

Quotes

    Serpent of Eden: Hello.
Turanga Leela: Did that snake say hello?
Zapp Brannigan: No... We're both delirious from dehydration.
Serpent of Eden: Just like Adam and Eve. [Starts hissing.]

Turanga Leela: Oh, God. I'm actually starting to miss him.
Serpent of Eden: Maybe you two belong together.
Turanga Leela: We do not. And you can't talk.
Serpent of Eden: Oh, come on. It must be an awful tempation...

Serpent of Eden: I'm just saying, is all.
