It is seen in the first four minutes of the [[Animatic]] of the first episode of the [[Season 6|sixth season]] [[Rebirth]]. When the [[Planet Express]] crew, [[Philip J. Fry|Fry]], [[Turanga Leela|Leela]], [[Bender Bending Rodriguez|Bender]], [[Hermes Conrad|Hermes]], [[Amy Wong|Wong]], [[Dr. John A. Zoidberg|Zoidberg]], the [[Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth|Professor]], [[Scruffy]], [[LaBarbara Conrad|LaBarbara]] and [[Kif Kroker|Kif]] fly into the [[Panama Wormhole]] at the end of [[Into the Wild Green Yonder]], the professor shows them what will protect them from the collision. He is the only who has a complete bubble covering all his body, while everyone else's only protect their heads. The [[Planet Express Ship|ship]] crashes into the surface and is then crushed by the [[Nimbus]]. The Safety sphere is an energy feild that protects the body from any damage. It is seen in the first four minutes of the Animatic of the first episode of the sixth season Rebirth. When the Planet Express crew, Fry, Leela, Bender, Hermes, Wong, Zoidberg, the Professor, Scruffy, LaBarbara and Kif fly into the Panama Wormhole at the end of Into the Wild Green Yonder, the professor shows them what will protect them from the collision. He is the only who has a complete bubble covering all his body, while everyone else's only protect their heads. The ship crashes into the surface and is then crushed by the Nimbus. The professor survives because of the sphere, but the others (excluding Fry) keep their heads, and their bodies are reduced to skeletons.
