Ronald M. "Ron" Popeil is an American inventor and marketing personality who voiced his own head in a jar in the episode "A Big Piece of Garbage". He is best known as the founder and spokesman for the direct response marketing company Ronco. He began his career as a door-to-door salesman for his father Samuel, selling kitchen-related products such as the Veg-O-Matic. Ron Popeil began recording himself demonstrating his father's inventions which led to his career as a pitchman, which led to fame and has spanned from the 1950s to the present.
