Ra-Ra is the current ruler of a civilization found on Earth's Sun, Sol. He lives in the capital city of the star known as Sun City. His rule was briefly interupted by a being claiming to be the Sun God who wanted control of the star and its population. Luckily the 'Sun God' was eventually beaten and shown to be a fake by Leela, Fry and Bender after the Planet Express Ship crashed on the Sun. After this incident he owed much to the trio for saving his people, creating peace and restoring him to his former glory as ruler of the Sun.
