Pocket Pal is the name of a miniature robot, made just big enough to use a AA battery. It was originally supposed to be a tool for the audience to understand the future setting better, it would telbout certain aspects of the future. This was abandoned early on and the character forgotten about. In , it was used bo demonstrate that robots can not go through the anamolynd Wernstrom then just decided to kill a bunch of other pocket pals just for the fun of it.
