Planet Vinci is a technologically advanced world described as a single, colossal university by its dumbest citizen, Leonardo, who visited Earth during the 15th and 16th centuries, when he no longer could stand being mocked for his stupidity. It resembles Italy during the early Renaissance movement.
- Planet Vinci is named after the real birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci.
- It took Fry and the Professor one month to get there, so it can be assumed Vinci is one month's space flight from Earth. However, as Spacecraft da Vinci seems to move rather slowly, this may not be entirely accurate.
