The Micro-droid machine is an invention by Professor Farnsworth made so that the Planet Express crew could go inside of Fry to stop the native worms. It was invented because it was too expensive to shrink the crew. It works by a person using it to scan themself and a microsopic, robotic version of themself known as a micro-droid would emerge and the person would control the micro-droid with the net suits. The person stops controlling the droid if it is somehow broken or smashed.
