Catherine Louise "Katey" Sagal is an American actress and singer who provides the voice of everybody's favorite cyclops, Turanga Leela. Before she got into acting, she got her start in the entertainment industry singing backup for the likes of Bob Dylan and Bette Midler. Prior to her work on Futurama, she was most famously known for her work as Peggy Bundy on the long running sitcom Married... with Children. Matt Groening wanted to audition her for Futurama.[1]

More recently, she has also been known to audiences as Gemma Teller Morrow on Sons of Anarchy, a role for which she has won a Golden Globe. She has also released several solo albums, including The Room and Well....
