::Yes. My thought originally was to decide to get 6ACV10, but then I thought "hey, the subject is big enough to have an entire article about the theorem". If we include the theorem now (after Earth) we could have 6ACV10 in a few months. Aki 19:26, 23 February 2011 (CET)

Featured Article Archives
Nominate new articles
Existing archives (newest first):

Nominate articles that you think are worthy of being featured on the main page. Please create them below under a level 3 (===Level 3===) heading.

How do you vote? Edit this page, and put your name under either "Accept" or "Decline" for each article nominated — You can do that with a sig template, three tildes (~~~), or simply Buddy13.

You must nominate an article before creating the feature. Seriously.

Guidelines for Featured Articles

Featured articles should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have at least one image.
  • Must be at least 500 words.
    • This rule may be ignored if the article is on something minor and everything known is described.
  • The article should not yet be on the Featured Articles pages.
  • The article should not still be on the "What's new?" section of the Main Page. Nominations of these pages will be accepted but they won't actually be featured until they leave this listing.
  • The article should not be marked with one of the templates in Category:Wiki Maintenance.
  • Probably other stuff, too

Nominations

The nominations section is for articles that you feel are ready to be featured. If it still needs work, add it to Potential Candidates.

"Soldier Boys"

There's a lot non-comic to be featured first, especially since I've never even touched a Futurama comic it's simply not that interesting to me. Aki 10:06, 16 August 2010 (CEST)

I live in Portugal, and they don't sell those here, so I've never touched one either. (I've read "Futurama Returns", but I didn't touch it, so...) I still think the Soldier Boys article is pretty good, though. (And has a nice image too!) San Saber 14:12, 20 December 2010 (CET)

Season 6

I find this article to be very decent and highly en par with a good Wikipedia article. Unfortunately, it has some bad areas here and there, with sentences and information cluttered together over time, so the sentence structure becomes odd or off when read from a fresh start. I assume that through some tweaking, the article will become even better than good. --Sviptalk 17:57, 28 February 2010 (CET)

Since our current policies only allow for an article to be featured once, I think we would do this article more favours by waiting till the season have actually hit the airwaves. We will have more content by then and we will be able to reflect more accurately on the content. It will no doubt be a much better article when featured if we wait. --Sviptalk 11:14, 14 March 2010 (CET)

I'm voting for this, though it should be featured when it has premiered --I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 00:14, 24 May 2010 (CEST)

So, how much of the season do we want to have aired? We'll all have 3-4 episodes memorised by fortnight 14. - Quolnok 15:53, 13 June 2010 (CEST)
Seriously, how far will we have to go? I'm really starting to lose interest in the Featured system. Aki 10:08, 16 August 2010 (CEST)
Broadcast season 7 is over. Come on! San Saber 14:12, 20 December 2010 (CET)
The article could certainly be featured considering how it's halfway through, and it's quite perfect to have it between this hiatus. An idea would be to have the entire article now (January or February) and then have some part of it (production?) expanded and used the fortnight before "The Silence of the Clamps" airs. However, the article is currently having all too many faults - a featured article should never have an update template. Fix that, and we're on. Aki 15:52, 20 December 2010 (CET)

A big article about an episode that has frequently been called the best one by both staff and fans. Aki 17:05, 20 December 2010 (CET)

I agree it's a great choice, but don't you think we'll grow tired of episode articles on the Main Page? San Saber 16:43, 27 December 2010 (CET)
The article can be featured later in the year, when we haven't had an episode for quite some time. Aki 16:54, 27 December 2010 (CET)
Good idea. That way I won't start hating it. San Saber 17:39, 27 December 2010 (CET)

Potential Candidates

The potential candidates section is for articles that you feel should be featured but need a bit more polishing/completeness. If it is probably ready add it to Nominations. Feel free also to move articles in this section to the nominations when you think they're good to go.

Maybe if there's more info. If someone thinks it can be a candidate, go ahead. — Chris of the Futurama 2 [ discuss | contribute ] 03:48, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
