The Bender Head box set.

The Futurama: The Complete Collection 1999-2009 is a DVD box set of the original run's first four seasons as well as the four films of season 5.

The box set will be available in two versions. First a special limited edition, set to only 500 copies, each with hard numbered letter from Matt Groening and David X. Cohen. To increase its exclusiveness, it is only being sold at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con to people who have first pre-ordered it before the event.

The box contains a large Bender head, when its back door is opened, it contains 19 DVDs, the 15 DVD of the original run and the 4 of the films.[1] The DVDs are stored in an array inside the head on top of each other.[1] Some international releases do not include the Bender head. The initial Australian release did not, however the set was later re-released with the head and Volume 5.

Before its actual announcement on Fox's own site, Amazon had a page for it for a couple of days stating a special pre-order price, but was not limited by the same strain of having to be at the Comic-Con event. However, the page was later pulled, and viewing the URL again simply produces a 404 error.

On 13 October, 2009, a less exclusive version will be available to everyone,[2] and something seems to indicate that it might still include the Bender head.[3]
