Flexo is a Bending Unit and identical to Bender in every possible respect, except that he has a stylish metal goatee attached. The two of them crossed paths when Fry demonstrated an ancient car to his friends and ran Flexo over, he had to be restored by the Professor and Amy in a lengthy operation. Flexo proved to be instrumental in safely delivering the crown of Miss Universe to its destination, but was arrested afterwards because of his similarity with Bender, the real culprit. Flexo later stumbled across Bender's path again when he tried to seduce Angeline.
