Edna is a female Decapodian who Zoidberg went to high school with. She laughed at him because of his barnacles. Later, during the mating season of 3001, Zoidberg wanted to mate with her but she refused. Fry helped tell Zoidberg what to do and Edna agreed to mate until Leela told her that it was all because of Fry. Edna then wanted to mate with Fry until Zoidberg fought over her in Claw-Plach. Edna chose to mate with the Decapodian Emperor and they both died during mating (2ACV05).

In Into the Wild Green Yonder, Edna (or a female Decapodian strongly resembling her) is sitting in the audience at Leo Wong's second demolition ceremony. How- or if- she survived the mating frenzy, as well the Decapodian's true identity, remains a mystery.
