The Dr. Veins McGee is the doctor of the Nimbus spaceship, his service is the "Nimbus Sick Bay & Horta Burn Clinic". He cured the main character after the Holo-Shed disaster. At this occasion, he said to Kif that he is pregnant.

- This character is based on the Star Trek doctor, Leonard McCoy. In a deleted scene Veins exclaims: "Dammit Zapp, I'm a doctor, not a miracle worker!" referencing McCoy'catchphrase.
