Richard Wagstaff "Dick" Clark is an American television host and presenter who voiced his own head in a jar in "Space Pilot 3000".  He is best known as the long-running host of American Bandstand from 1956 to 1989, Pyramid (game show) from 1973 to 1988, and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest from 1972 through 2004.  In 2004, he suffered a stroke and relinquished his sole hosting duties for DCNYRE, becoming co-host with now-executive producer Ryan Seacrest.  Until he fell ill, Clark was commonly known as "America's Oldest Teenager" due to his youthful demeanor and energy.
