Episode

The Cookieville Minimum-Security Orphanarium is a New New York-based orphanage. Severely understaffed, they provide a cold, uncaring environment for young children without parents to grow up in. It is also the orphanarium where Leela was left as a child.

In response to a generous donation from Bender of 12 orphans and a check for $1200, the Orphanarium was renamed Bender Bending Rodriguez Orphanarium, but it seems to still be using the name Cookieville as well. The building used to have a fence around it to make escaping difficult, but this was apparently removed some time before 3011.

Residents

There are no currently known orphans of the Orphanarium, since all were adopted by Abner Doubledeal in 3011. Prior to the mass adoption, Albert, Bethany, Sally, Nina, Sam, and seven other orphans, unknown by name all lived here. Turanga Leela lived here from the time she was an infant until she aged out.

Notably, former resident Sally has a tail and an ear on her forehead. It is likely that she has a similar background to Leela.
