Thanks to Ron Popeil, by the year 3000 the technology has long existed to keep human heads alive in jars. This convenient device allows many famous personalities from the real world to be included in episodes of Futurama (though how people who were dead before the technology existed have been placed in jars has never been explained). The following list includes many of the famous characters' heads that have appeared on the show.
