Description
The Sequence starts with the title Futurama and a caption such as 'Or is it?'. The Planet Express Ship flys through the title into New New York. The camera shows different parts of the city until it comes to a large screen which shows a real-life cartoon that differs in each episode. The ship then crashes into the screen. In the first season a short chapter called the Cold Opening appears before the Opening Sequence although this doesn't happen in the other three seasons. In some episodes the traditional song is different and sometimes has the cast singing.
