This article is to include the affiliates in the sidebar. A problem is that we cannot add images to the sidebar, but neither can we get backgrounds to be clickable via CSS.
There is no alternative but to hack our way out of it. But in order to avoid the total destruction of the wiki, I will first before this concept on a test wiki. Until I am sure what needs being done. Hopefully, when done, the MediaWiki:Sidebar only needs to include "*AFFILIATES" similar to "*SEARCH" and whatnot.
The syntax is defined as follows;
