The Story
Act I: We've talked it over and everybody thinks you're too old
Professor Farnsworth is hunting the gargoyle Pazuzu that has escaped from his laboratory. He is acting extremely geriartric, driving extremely slow and being very forgetful. He even forgets what he set out to do initially and parks the ship in a Florida diner, where his nuclear-powered teeth cause mayhem. The crew decide that the Professor is too old and bring him to the The Bubbling Geezer spa where he is to be youthisized. After several treatments bring no change, the Professor is bathed in age-reducing tar. Bender overdoes the pumping of the whirlpool function of the tar pit and everyone gets covered in tar. The Professor, previously at a biological age of 161, is now at 53 again, everyone else has reverted to teen age (Fry is 14). Zoidberg even reverts to a larval, codfish-like form.

Act II: Shut up and go live with your parents!
While the Professor tries to restore their normal ages, the crew have to adjust to their teenage selves - mostly by acting very childishly. Leela choses to go live with her parents, to experience the childhood she never had. Her parents agree to this, even as Leela asks them to be really strict so she can get the whole teen experience. Amy's parents are not amused, though - they will have to wait longer for a grandchild. Fry and Leela go out on a date and win a sewer race against Moose and Mandy, but end up damaging the Martin Luther Thing Jr. High School. Meanwhile, the Professor has thougt of a way to restore their correct ages - a genetically engeneered oil eating bacterium that should eat away the tar still stuck to their DNA (in Bender's case, his RNA). Leela refuses the treatment, as she wants to go on living out her teen age with her parents. The rest of the crew enter the Bacterial Spew Chamber for controlled infection with the bacteria. The plan, however, backfires - the tar is gone, but the chronatons within it are now roaming free inside the crew's system, making them younger by the minute. The Professor is now 35 years old, and Amy is only 8. They all now face a fate worse than death: pre-life, then death.

Act III: The Fountain of Aging
While the Professor is desperately thinking of a way to stop the youthing process, Leela (who is still a teen as she didn't take the treatment) takes care of the crew that is now around four or five years old at her parent's home. While reading them a story, she stumbles on a story about the Fountain of Aging. She informs the Professor, who thinks that it may really exist. The whole crew flies to an extremely old solar system, where they locate the Fountain. The crew, except the Professor, have now reverted to their embryonal stage, except for Bender - all what is left of him is a CD with Bending Robot Blueprints. A sibling from Zoidberg (his brother Norman) falls into the Fountain, gets caught in its eddy and eventually dies. The Professor, now around three years old, enters the Fountain with the others, where everyone ages quickly. However, the current is too strong and the Professor loses his grip, they all get drawn into the center of the fountain. Leela jumps in after them, tied to a safety rope, and manages to retrieve everyone, now at about their correct ages again - except the Professor, who is drawn right into the center of the fountain. He is saved, however, by Pazuzu, who earns his freedom that way and lives on Notre Dame in Paris afterwards with his son.
Planet of Origin: Wormulon

Created by: Slurm Worms, Grunka Lunkas

Description
Slurm, the number-one soft drink of the future, is refreshingly addictive. It is produced in a factory on the planet Wormulon by a race known only as the Slurm Worms. Their corporate mascot is Slurms MacKenzie, "The Original Party Worm."

Fry is a huge Slurm <s>addict</s> fan, and rarely goes more than 12 minutes without one.

Types of Slurm
*Slurm Medicinal Tonic: Slurm in the 2850s was sold as a medicine (much like Coca-cola and Pepsi in the late 1800s).
*Regular Slurm: The soft drink which is the most common type of Slurm
*Slurmee: A frozen version of Slurm similar to Icee and Slushee drinks on Earth.
*Slurm river: Liquid used for the river on the Slurm tour that looks like Slurm but doesn't taste like Slurm
*Royal Slurm: A purple liquid which turns people into a Slurm Queen
*Super Slurm: So delicious that people cannot resist it and will drink it until they explode

Slogans
*Drink Slurm!
*Slurm: It's Highly Addictive!

Creation
Throughout the tour, Glurmo is very evasive about the nature of the secret ingredient. After exploring the factory's off-limits areas, the crew discovers that the drink is actually produced by a giant Slurm Worm, known as the Slurm Queen. She secretes the Slurm through an orifice in the end of her tail, much the way bees secrete honey. In fact, this is so similar that Slurm Queens produce "Royal Slurm" much as queen bees can produce royal jelly, which, if eaten, changes a larval bee into a queen. This disgusting revelation leads the Professor to attempt to get the Slurm banned, but Fry is so addicted, that he foils this attempt, and continues drinking Slurm whenever possible.
The Story
Act I: "Give it a rest, you two!"
Fry is trying to sleep, but is kept up by a rythmic squeeking from the next apartment. A pan through the wall reveals a pair of spring-bodied robots playing cards.

Act II: "Being Poor Sucks"
Fry has a dream about Lightspeed Briefs. When he tells his co-workers, they tell him it was just an advertisement. In spite of everyone's claims not to be affected by the dreams, they all run to the mall. Fry discovers he can't afford a pair of Lightspeed Briefs, and Bender steals a lot of stuff. When they're trying to bail Bender out, he discovers his old bank account is still open. Thanks to compound interest, his $.93 has grown to 4.3 billion dollars.

Act III: "50 million dollars worth of Anchovies"
Fry's new-found wealth immediately goes to his head. He spends a fortune taking his friends out and doing whatever expensive, ridiculous things they can think of. When he tried to buy his friends dinner, he learns that his favorite pizza topping, Anchovies, have been extinct for 800 years.

Later, they go to an auction and Fry gets into a bidding contest with Mom over the last known can of anchovies in the world, which he ultimately buys for 50 million dollars. Fry begins to turn inward, immersed in his private recreation of the 20th century.

Act IV: "That stench... that heavenly stench!"
Mom reveals that anchovie's represent a potential source of a super lubricant that would put Mom's Friendly Robot Company out of the oil business, costing her billions. She plots with her sons to get Fry's anchovies back, by tricking Fry into revealing his pin number - "the price of a cheese pizza and a soda" at Panucci's Pizza where Fry used to work. They drug Fry and place him in a staged scene in Panucci's, where Pamela Anderson's Head enters and places an order. Fry stupidly falls for the obvious trick and reveals his pin number. Mom steals Fry's money, and tries to extort the can of anchovies out of him. Fry refuses, insisting that it is more important to share the anchovies he loves with his friends than to be rich. Realising Fry doesn't know the anchovies secret and her oil monopoly is safe, Mom leaves. With the exception of Dr. Zoidberg, his friends hate the anchovies.

General Information
Morris and Munda are a married couple living their lives in the sewers. They are both mutants; both have only one eye, but Morris also has a sideways mouth and Munda has tentacles for arms plus a tail. Munda has a Ph.D. in exolinguistics and seems more the educated type, while Morris seems to be prone to drink sometimes, plus he enjoys fishing. Both are friendly and dedicated to their only daughter Leela up to and beyond the point of rather dying than let something bad happen to her, though they always fear she might be ashamed of them. They live in a small house in the sewers and own a mutant cat with a tail that is a snake.

Biography
When their daughter was born the "least mutated mutant ever born", they conceived a plan to give their daughter a better life by leaving her on the steps of an orphanarium. Munda used her Ph.D. in exolinguistics to write a note in Alienese, so people would think she was an alien rather than a mutant. The note read "Your parents love you very much." Both swore to rather die than let her daughter know the shameful truth of her origin. However, in an attempt to save Leela from redemption by the other mutants, they got her unwanted attention, and after a lengthy chase were almost killed by their own daughter. Only Fry's research and timely intervention saved them, and the little family was reunited. Later, they both made a trip to the surface with permission from Citihall to meet with their daughter, however Leela could not meet with them because she had to protect her secret identity as Clobberella, which caused her some pain. When the Zookeeper learned Leela's true identity, he kidnapped her parents to coerce the New Justice Team to deliver the Quantum Gemerald to him. When the crew was reverted to their teenage selves and later into childhood, Morris and Munda provided assistance by letting their daughter stay with them and briefly take up the childhood she had always wanted. Wanting to experience the real thing, Leela asked them to be as strict as they could, but they were constantly too lenient and Leela had to encourage them to be stricter. They also allowed the youthified crew to stay with the teenage Leela until the Professor worked out a plan to restore their true ages, apparently the book containing the story about the Fountain of Aging belonged to them as well.

Home Planet: Omicron Persei 8

General
The Omicronians are a violent, agressive race, much like humans. Omicronians stand around eight feet tall, and have characteristics of reptiles. Their skin can have various colours, ranging from a greenish-yellow to dark brown, their eyes are yellow with oval pupils. They are not very picky eaters, and have been known to swallow humans and orangutangs whole. They are also fans of 20th century television, particurlarly the programming of the FOX Network. They watch these programs "live" in the year 3000, since radio waves from Earth take 1,000 years to reach Omicron Persei 8(1ACV12). The Omicronian war machine is one of the chief threats to the DOOP, and the Omicronians have been known to react disproportionally to even the slightest disturbance or irritation.

Reproduction
Omicronians begin their lives in an immature, larval state, which are placed in large pits by the billions on nursery planets. In this state, they resemble fried shrimp and are reportedly delicious, they became widely known on Earth under the brand name Popplers, distributed by the fast food franchise Fishy Joe's(2ACV15). Once mature, they become sentient immediately. It seems unlikely that the parents are actively involved in their upbringing, but this is only speculation. It seems likely that young Omicronians instinctively know how to speak once they have reached a certain stage. There is evidence that suggests the younger generation consumes the previous one (Jrrr: "When my species grows up, we eat our mums.").

Racial Abilities
Aside from their larger size and strength, their only super-human ability seems to be their capacity to swallow very large objects (like people). Their technology is more advanced than that of the human race, for example, they know the secret of immortality. (1ACV12)
Additional Info
Trivia
*Some Omicronians share the wide-spread belief among alien races that human noses (Humanhorn) are a strong aphrodisiac.

Quotes
*Lrrr: People of Earth, I am Lrrr of the planet Omicron Persei 8. [He hears feedback behind him.] Turn down that TV, Nd-Nd.
Life getting you down? Just don't know how you can make it though another day? There is a way out!

Stop-N-Drop brand Suicide Booths have been helping people like you since 2008. It's fast, easy, and affordable. And thanks to our new Incineration feature, your remains will be compacted, hermetically sealed in a small GladWare™ container, and shipped to the address of your choice (for a small additional fee).

Conveniently located on street corners everywhere. Come see us, we can make it stop!

The Suicide Booth requires 25¢ to relief you from the burden of life. Seen right from the 1st Futurama episode, it seems to be a quite useful gadget of the 3000's. People and robots alike wait patiently in the line to use it. Technically, it has two operational (killing) modes: i) Quick and painless (probably the most popular), and ii) Slow and horrible (Bender's favorite). It follows voice commands, although speech recognition is not always successful. Its appearance is quite misleading, since Fry originally mistook it for a phone booth.
* The voice recognition feature of the Phone Booth most probably makes fun of similar modern Intelligent Network automated systems and their inferior quality.
General Information
Philip J. Fry is one of the key employees at Planet Express. As official Delivery Boy, ship crew member and general oddjob man, he is member of the core delivery crew that does most of Planet Express' actual work. He looks normal enough, only his 20th century clothes and his flaming red, double spiked hairdo make him stand out. He generally wears sneakers, blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a red jacket, but has been seen in other clothes on special occasions. Normally he looks not too well and even has a small beer belly, but there's much worse sights than him.

Fry is not the smartest person around, and usually a big loser. He often does things that are stupid or inconsiderate or both. If one of his crazy ideas goes bad (again), it is generally Leela's job to rescue him. It seems that Fry's mind is filled with a blissful emptiness, waiting for the next TV show, video game or mad impulse to fill it up. Nevertheless, Fry's heart is in the right place, and he cares about his friends, especially Leela with whom he is in love, although she has always rejected him so far. His best friend, however, is Bender - he always wanted a robot for a friend, ever since he was six years old, and Bender seems to be happy with this relationship.

Biography
Philip J. Fry is a true child of the 20th century and of Old New York. In his youth he did a lot of break dancing and was member of a street gang. He also played basketball with his brother where he found his seven leaf clover which he later hid from his brother. In high school he drank 100 cans of cola a week until his third heart attack. So far he has refrained from adopting 31st century clothing, probably because no one cares about things like this these days. Since at least 1997 he worked as a delivery boy for Panucci's Pizza which he found an abandoned dog on the streets and named him Seymour (since the prank name was Seymour Asses) after feeding the dog pizza he followed Fry who then kept him. By 1998 he had taught Seymour to sing I'm walking on sunshine, clean up and wait for him after a delivery. Before Fry was frozen Seymore wanted him to stay for new years eve. On new-years eve of 1999, after his girlfriend Michelle broke up with him, he attempted to deliver a pizza to I. C. Wiener at Applied Cryogenics. While there, he was frozen for a thousand years, arriving abrubtly into his new life in the 31st century. On December 31, 2999 he was defrosted and ran straight into Leela who worked as Fate Assignment Officer at the time, and a bit later crossed bender's path. The three of them ended up working for Planet Express, the interstellar delivery company run by Fry's many-times-great-nephew, Hubert Farnsworth. For a time, he was romantically involved with Amy, but this relationship was short-lived. His true love is Leela, who is generally dismissive of his continuous advances. Fry is persistent, though, and has made countless attempts to win Leela's heart - so far without lasting success, but he seems to get closer to his goal. Fry has suffered countless accidents and wounds in his time at Planet Express, for example, he lost an arm on Decapod 10, a Tyrannosaurus ate his hands once, and he was reduced to his head on Europa while on a picnic trip with Amy and Zoidberg. His carreer has seen great heights as well: he briefly was Emperor of Trisol (as Fry the Solid) and multi-billionaire, and has fought in the war on Spheron 1 and against Omicronians with the Earth forces. On one occasion, he was infected with alien worm parasites that actually improved him in a way that Leela fell in love with him, but he wanted to know whether she loved him or what the worms made of him, so he made them leave and reverted to his old self - Leela dumped him on the spot. During this period he learned to play the Holophonor which impressed Leela a great deal, but without the worms he could not play it anymore. He later got a little outside help from the Robot Devil by exchanging his hands for the Robot Devil's and became a great Holophonor performer, but Beelzebot coerced him into giving them back, foiling another attempt to win Leela's heart. Together with Leela and Bender, he formed the The New Justice Team, assuming the name Captain Yesterday and a rather cool 70s style outfit not unakin to Elvis. During a trip back in time to the year 1947, he became his own grandfather, a genetic anomaly that caused a unique condition which makes him the most important person in the universe: Fry lacks the Delta Brain Wave that all other sentient beings possess, making him immune to the Brain Spawn and the greatest asset in the Nibblonians war against this menace. On account of this, Fry was able to save Earth and the entire universe from the Brain Spawn, and in return got the promise that the Nibblonians would assist in his attempts to win Leela's heart.

He lives with Bender in the Robot Arms Apartments.

Name
Outside the show Fry was called Philip after Phil Hartman, who was to play Zapp Brannigan. Fry was originally named Curtis. Within the show Fry was named Philip by his father after phillip screwdrivers. The J. is used in Many of Matt Groening's characters including Homer J. Simpson, Bartholomew J. Simpson and Mona J. Simpson, and is a tribute to Bullwinkle J. Moose. The trend is also followed by Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth, and presumably his son, Cubert Farnsworth, though his is never confirmed.

Family
Fry's family tree is a bit convoluted, due in part to the reuse of common names, but mostly because Fry went back in time and became his own grandpa (3ACV19).
*Professor Farnsworth, Fry's many-times-great-nephew and at the same time many-times-grandson.
*Seymour, his dog in the 20th century.
*One or more of Mom's children (rumored)
