Overview
For a bit of fun, the creators of Futurama placed messages throughout the series encoded in some imaginary alien languages. There are at least two languages known to exist in the show, though some believe a 3rd language was introduced in the final season.

Alienese
The first alien language (AL1) was a simple substitution-cypher. This means that each latin letter was replaced with a new symbol. The language can be translated into english simply by learning each symbol, or by looking it up in a table.

In the episode Leela's Homeworld, the language is referred to as "Alienese".

Symbols
beta crypt 3
The second alien language was more complicated, and is not for the faint of heart. Each symbol had a numerical value. To decode a message, the first symbol's value is translated directly into a character (0='A', 1='B', and so on). For the remaining letters, you subtract the previous symbol's numerical value. If the result is less than zero, you add 26. Then that number is converted into a character as before. Unfortunately, the symbol for 1 has never been seen. This means you can never start a sentence (or word, if you use the "restart" method) with a "B".

Note: If you ever see two identical symbols in a row, the second is always an "A".
The Story
Act I: I, Meatbag
The What-If Machine is brought back, Bender promptly wants to know what it would be like if he were human. When the machine is started up, we see all the crew gathered around a table with Bender strapped down in preparation for the Professor's latest experiment using the process of 'reverse fossilization' in order to make Bender human. Bender is successfully transformed into a human and goes about getting used to life inside a human body. The crew warn him of the dangers of over-indulging and having self-control. Bender escapes into the night and goes on a non-stop week-long partying session. A week later, Bender is found and Professor Farnsworth displays him to the shocked crowd at the Nobel Prize ceremony and is kicked him out of the Academy Of Science, but not before Bender (now largely overweight to the point where he can just about move his mouth) gives a heartfelt confession of having a good time and partying. The scientists at the convention are clearly touched by Bender's speech and party for hours on end. After the party, Bender is announced dead twelve hours after the party had started.

Act II: Raiders of the Lost Arcade
The next question the machine is asked is Fry's "What would life be like if it were more like a videogame?" The story begins in outer-space in the form of the game Asteroids. The green ship (Planet Express Ship) shoots and dodges asteroids before safely returning back to Earth. Richard Nixon's head is signing a peace accord with the ambassador Kong of the planet Nintenduu 64. But, things go wrong with the peace agreement when (Donkey) Kong throws a barrel at Richard Nixon's head and abandons the peace signing. The story then cuts to Militari HQ with a green tank from the game Tank Commander passing by. Fry, Leela, Bender and Zoidberg rendezvous with General Colin Packman (or Pac-Man as he is better known). The group arrive outside Planet Express through a Mario tube. But, there is another force threatening Earth. Lrrr, of the planet Nintenduu 64 has decided to invade Earth with his Space Invaders. Fry then battles the Space Invaders. During the battle, General Pac-Man is fatally wounded. Fry eventually loses after realising he could never get the last ship, his brother always did. The last Space Invader lands on Earth and their demand is simple: they demand quarters to do their laundry with. The Planet Express crew refuse to accept their offer but the Space Invaders settle an agreement if they can have their laundry done at the same time of when the crew do their laundry. They accept. The story ends.

Act III: Wizzin'
It's Leela's turn to ask a question, she asks what it would be like if she found her true home. But, she accidentally gets knocked out by the What If Machine's gambling machine arm. Instead of finding out where she came from, Leela begins to dream in her comatose state and the third story is a parody of The Wizard of Oz. Leela and Nibbler are caught in a tornado in the Planet Express Ship and land in Oz. After realising she crushed the Man-Witch of the West, the deceased witch's boots appear on Leela's feet. The Cute Witch of the North (Amy) appears, she informs her that only way for her to get home is to see the Professor in the Emerald Laboratory on Martin Luther King Boulevard. Further on down the road, she meets the Scarecrow (Fry) and the Tin-Man (Bender) who travel with Leela to find the Professor. Fry needs to see him about a brain and Bender needs a heart (so he can pump a lot of blood out of his basement). Zoidberg then appears in a taxi to represent the Cowardly Lion although he refers to himself as "the other guy. Courage". Overlooking this is the Wicked Witch of the West (Mom) who decides to send her flying monkeys (Walt, Larry and Ignar) to capture Fry, Leela and Bender, Zoidberg takes a taxi. The reason Mom captured Leela was the fact that she never had a daughter, she agrees to become Mom's daughter due to the fact that she'd love to be evil. But, as Bender gets a celebratory drink out of his chest, the liquid spills over Mom and she starts to melt. The group then take a taxi to the Emerald Laboratory to see the Professor. The Professor gives Zoidberg a gun rather than courage. The Professor says that Leela must get home by clicking her boots together three times, but she instead wishes to be the new Wicked Witch and transforms Fry, Bender and the Professor into frogs. A flume of water lands on her from above (due to a toilet leak after being used by Zoidberg) and she begins to melt.

Another flume of water lands on Leela and she is awoken from her dream by Bender. Leela comes to, and the Professor is heartbroken to discover she has awoken having entered the room with a pair of tweezers and a box with "Leela's Organs" written on the side. Hermes informs the Professor there's always next year to try.
Trivia
*bender iz 4 yearz old so when he became a human he should of become a 4 year old kid.. woohoo this didnt get deleted!!
*When Bender is human, his human alter-ego looks exactly like a 31st century version of Homer Simpson in the way that he is dressed right from the white shirt down to the blue trousers.
*The title of the segment Raiders of the Lost Arcade is a reference to the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark.
*When the Nintendians are exiting their ship, one of them says the infamous gaming phrase "All your base are belong to us".
*Some of the Nintendians that come out of the ship include: a robot from the game Berzerk, a fried egg from Burgertime, Q*bert, and an evil brain-bot (possibly from Robotron 2084).
*The title of the segment Wizzin is from the musical The Wiz (based on The Wizard of Oz).
*In Oz, the peacock's tail feathers form the NBC logo.
*Donkey Kong's third appearance, the first non-cameo.
*The title of the first segment: "I,Meatbag",is a spoof of two things. The first being the title of the Asimov book: "I, Robot"; The second being what Bender calls people: Meatbags.
General Information
Nibbler, or Lord Nibbler as he is called by his conspecifics, is a member of a proud and ancient race, the Nibblonians. He is over a thousand years old, and was responsible for pushing Fry into the cryogenic tube and sending him to the year 3000. Nibbler was stationed on Vergon 6 until Leela discovered him there and instantly fell for his cuteness. Despite the fact that he is now Nibblonian Ambassador on Earth, he hides his intelligence and poses as Leela's pet, so as to be close to Fry. Nibblers purpose is to watch over Fry, who is the Nibblonian's "Chosen One", as well as "The Other", believed to be Leela. Nibbler is not his true name, for this one would take too long to pronounce properly,2 pronounce his name "it would take a million cosmoses 2 flare into existance and sink into eternal night" or so he claims. While pretending to be Leela's pet he generally wears only a red cape, small yellow shoes and diapers.

Additional Info
Trivia
*If you look closely, you can see Nibbler's shadow under Fry's chair when Fry falls into the tube. (1ACV01)
*In 2ACV16, when Fry misses the freeze by an inch in the alternate future the What-If Machine shows, Nibbler's shadow is gone.
*However, in 4ACV10, when Fry tries to cross Nibbler and eventually decides to let himself be sent to the future after all, there are two shadows under the desk - those of Nibbler and Fry (seen earlier in 4ACV07).
*Nibbler's spaceship, parked inside a container in the Planet Express building's neighbourhood, is just big enough to accept him and an adult human in extremely cramped conditions - if Nibbler scootches up his seat, that is.
*Nibbler's right fang broke in I Second that Emotion when he chewed at Bender's butt, it was replaced by a tooth of the Veterenarian that he lost while trying to persuade a jaguar to let go of one of his teeth.

Act I: Fry
At Planet Express, Fry, Leela and Bender learn from the Professor (who's wearing a sombrero) that he's sold the company to Mom. Immediately after this, a report comes on the news saying that she is now the majority shareholder, and ruler, of Earth. Mom claims everyone as slaves and sets a curfew so the crew decide to escape. Unfortunately the ship is severely damaged, with unknown reason, and needs repairs. While everyone else does something important, Fry is instructed to find a hammer. Fry dies getting the hammer but is brought back with the Professor's new invention, the Reanimator (which looks like a giant toaster). Fry keeps the hammer (for a weapon), which the Professor didn't need, and heads off to find the tools that are needed. After the repairs are done, it turns out that the backup dark matter engine is needed, but was pawned. Fry is given a gun and sent via the sewers (to avoid the Hoverbot Death Troopers) to Rook Takes Pawnshop.

Act II: Bender
Fry returns with the engine and they install it, the four escape, taking the Reanimator with them. Mom converts the planet into a spaceship in order to take over the universe and is annoyed to hear that the Planet Express crew is escaping. She then proceeds to try to hunt them down, but the Earth's engines aren't powerful enough. At Sal's Salvage on an asteroid, Sal informs them that the only kind of engine that will move the Earth is a dark matter engine ("and a big ones at thats"), and she'll need the Professor to get it. The Professor informs Bender that he's now a playable character and the ship gets caught. Sal has helped out Mom by trapping the Planet Express ship in a suck beam. Bender abandons ship, in full view of Mom and her sons, then dies on impact with the asteroid and is brought back by the Reanimator, which falls on his disassembled body. He then agrees to rescue the others in exchange for a box of magazines with fembot centre folds.

On his way to rescue the crew Bender has to evade Ignar in a turret, machinery activated by Larry and finally win in battle against Walt, who's in a tank. Bender deactivates the beam, boards the ship, and they escape.

Act III: Leela
The Professor says that he's not skilled enough to invent something to save the day; they'll have to visit his mentor and former graduate advisor Adoy, who lives on in the furthest corner of the universe. They don't have enough fuel, so Leela, who's now playable, is asked to get some. Mom catches them because she wants blueprints for the dark matter engine. They only exist in the Professor's head so she takes that, in a jar, and sends the ship hurtling towards the . The ship crash-lands near Sun City. Ra-Ra the Sun King offers them dark matter in exchange for protecting his people from the Sun God and his army. Fry and Bender wait at the ship.

Leela sets up lasers, which hit the Sun God, severely injuring him. He admits to being an "ordinary eternal omniscient super intelligent being" and explains that making robots from bones is more evil, then laughs so hard he falls into the Sun's molten surface and dies. Leela escapes the sinking temple. Villagers exit buildings and Leela returns to the ship. Ra-Ra rewards them with fuel and asks them to celebrate with him at the temple, which burns up in the background. The crew leave before he can notice.

Act IV: Zoidberg
Mom has hooked the Professor into the Earth's engines. She starts flying the ship around destroying other planets. The crew land on Bogad, quite literally in the corner of the universe. They meet up with Dr Zoidberg, who is making a cameo. He identifies a nearby animal as a horse and gets on. The crew talk to Adoy who tell them that his latest invention, the Time Tunneller, will get them back to before Mom became unstoppable. The hand crank on the machine will only turn the universe back two minutes, if turned for two minutes, so Zoidberg is sent off to find the generator.

Zoidberg reaches the generator and turns it on. Adoy sets up the Time Tunneller and the crew head back in time to Earth. Zoidberg is left behind.

Act V: Mom
Leela crash-lands the severely damaged ship in the Planet Express building. They quickly fulfil a time paradox by leaving the bad ship behind and taking the good ship to stop the Professor from selling the company. They crash the ship through the window of Mom's Headquarters just as the Professor is about to sign. The Reanimator falls from the wreckage and all three are regenerated. Fry warns the Professor. Mom tricks them into standing where she can trap them. They each have to try to escape from Destructor, with several gun upgrades, as he enters target practice mode.

Fry finds a gun and soon after enters battle against Destructor. Fry wins and heads down to meet the other two. Mom’s sons are cleaning up. Ignar breaks the Reanimator, which falls on Destructor's body knocking it onto the crew, killing them, permanently. The Professor refuses to sell, but then Mom offers him a sombrero...
Trivia
*In the options menu, Billy West provides audio for SFX Volume and Speech Volume testing.
**In the former, Fry produces the effects, in the latter, Fry, Professor Farnsworth and Zapp Brannigan test the microphones.
*Both Scruffy and Hermes are seen sleeping on the job.
*Terry's "Welcome to the world of tomorrow!" features in the intro remix.
*The four types of mutant seen in this game are how they were expected to be in 2ACV01, there is no sign of intelligence and minimal, if any, humanity.
*Leela's parents' house appears to be in Old New York.
*Bender's birthstone is Robobium.
*Deaths:
**False Sun God
**Destructor
**Fry (four times, one permanent)
**Bender (three times, one permanent)
**Leela (two times, one permanent)
*Due to the episodes nature, it is best viewed as an "Anthology of Interest" (2ACV16, 3ACV18), which would make it non-canon.
*Maurice LaMarche voiced all three bosses.

While the quote "Wow! I had my first kiss in a subway car just like that one... almost" is a little less disturbing than "Wow! I had my first kiss in a subway car just like that one. Heh, homeless people." it is also less correct and less funny. Please play the level again and listen more closely. - Quolnok 18:11, 6 January 2007 (PST)
